Simply Sublime

A pioneer or warrior. Positive, enthusiastic, energetic, independent. Hates monotony and routine work. Ardent lover and reassuring friend. Generous and stimulating, but can become hasty and impatient.

Sherwin's Night of Debauchery

Food For Thought
The reason firehouses have circular stairways is from the days when
the engines were pulled by horses. The horses were stabled on the
ground floor and figured out how to walk up straight staircases.

Sherwin's Night of Debauchery

Venue : Restaurant Sri Melor Jaya
Time : 8.00 p.m.
Members : Adrian, Nicholas, Krisyanth, Yin Chye, Keat Yeong, Teck Juan, Yindran, Justin, Woon, Shaun, Rishi, Davis and of course the host, myself.

I know it's callous and utterly insensitive to place my name in front of such an occasion, but I have my reasons =)

The initial plan was that everyone gathered at Sri Melor Jaya in Bukit Tinggi. As I assumed that Sri Melor Jaya was well known to everyone and publicly recognized, I picked it as our rendezvous as the place was relatively spacious and always empty. Perfect for a gathering spot.

But as the sequence of events developed, the rendezvous was modified. Adrian says it's bad planning but I must diverge. It was a good plan that went terribly wrong.

New Venue : Restaurant 555 (Face of Chinese Princess)
New Time : 8.30 p.m. [or rather, Malaysian Timing]

Earlier that day, Yindran, Shaun, Teck Juan and I went to Mid Valley. Yindran and Shaun followed me back home to leave with me for the night out.

Body Count : 3

Justin and Adrian were supposed to meet me at my place at 7.45 p.m. I returned home with Shaun and Yindran at 7.50 p.m. Justin and his brother awaited in the car for our return for 10 minutes while Adrian in contradistinction, came at about 8.10 p.m. I know Adrian, traffic jam. We left at 8.15 p.m.

Body Count : 5

I offered to pick Yin Chye up, who was stranded at the Caltex Petrol Station in Bayu Perdana, since it was on route to our destination.

Body Count : 6

Once we got there, we went to Sri Melor Jaya to inspect if anyone was left behind. Keat Yeong was sitting right in the middle of the restaurant, seated alone under the bright yellow light with a cup of 'limau ais' in his hands, sipping away in content. I communicated with Keat Yeong (KY) using hand signals, and it proceeded as such.

Sherwin : *Hand sways in a stroking motion* - Oi, Come la!
KY : *Hand is opened and raised* - Wait, Wait
Sherwin : *..!..* - Idiot

Yin Chye had to sit in the boot while Keat Yeong climbed aboard. Poor bloke :'-( We left for the restaurant at 8.25 p.m.

Body Count : 7

Seven people in a car including yourself makes you wonder how it ever reached that figure. I had an epiphany as I reached the T-Junction. 'One wrong move could take 6 of the lives of your best friends, all at once'. This gave me an absolute reason to be a little more cautious on the road. Once we got there, Nicholas and Rishi had already sat down. We sat next to them and satisfied our appetites. Teck Juan, Davis, and Krisyanth joined us at 8.30 p.m. while Woon joined us at 8.45 p.m. Punctuality is the key to any successful congregation aye?

"I look cheeky with my 'Pathetic' shirt"
Oh wait, a typo.

Bros over clothes

Simply, Sublime

"Woa! This is delicious!"
"What is it?"

Bird Eye's View

"No, I have eaten 'cili padi' before"

Dinner ended at 9.15 p.m. We walked past 3 cyber cafes that were full, before settling down at Zion Net. An unfortunate event took place as Teck Juan had been involved in a 'knock and run' accident. Let bygones, be bygones aye? No, he wasn't the victim =)

We sat in seperate computers distributed far apart as there wasn't sufficient computers to accommodate to all thirteen of us. A game of 'Counter-Strike' is played on a whole new level when a large group of your closest friends plays together. Friends that eat together, play together.

Picture of the night

That's right kids. The boogie monster is back.

Signing off,
Sherwin
